US startup Formic will rent you a robot for less than a person’s minimum wage
The popular press has been saying ‘the robots are coming’ for a while now. Have they now started to arrive?
Formic is a US-based startup who have created a leasing model for robots where the off-putting upfront costs are eliminated and you simply ‘hire’ their robots for an hourly fee of $8/hr – below the US minimum wage of $15 an hour.
