We are definitely living in the future! Israeli firm Tevel is deploying its apple harvesting robot into multiple countries.

There’s lots of interesting stuff to see in the video below: How the drones are permanently tethered to the main robot for continuous power delivery; the use of AI classification to find apples and determine their ripeness, the markers on the robot body that help drones orient themselves and correctly drop apples into the right slots; the suction cup gripper that applies enough force to pluck the apple but not damage it; etc. Super cool stuff!
