The Unreal Gaming engine that modern day games such a Fortnite, Borderlands, Final Fantasy and thousands of others are created with is being used outside the gaming industry in exciting ways! Below is a short video giving an overview of how virtual sets rendered in real-time on a giant videowall (like the Holodeck in Star Trek) have replaced traditional green screen techniques in the filming of Star Wars’ The Mandalorian series.
